Today we move on to the letter B! B is for beauty. As women made in God's own image we are the earthly representation of God's splendor and beauty . We should enjoy the fact that we are women, and God has made each one of us unique and beautiful! The Bible even tells us that we are the crowning glory of man.

1 Cor.11: 10-12Don't, by the way, read too much into the differences here between men and women. Neither man nor woman can go it alone or claim priority. Man was created first, as a beautiful shining reflection of God—that is true. But the head on a woman's body clearly outshines in beauty the head of her "head," her husband. The first woman came from man, true—but ever since then, every man comes from a woman! And since virtually everything comes from God anyway, let's quit going through these "who's first" routines.
13-16Don't you agree there is something naturally powerful in the symbolism—a woman, her beautiful hair reminiscent of angels, praying in adoration; a man, his head bared in reverence, praying in submission? I hope you're not going to be argumentative about this. All God's churches see it this way; I don't want you standing out as an exception. ( The Message Bible)

Have you ever watched a little girl who is enthralled with the fact she is feminine? The other day at church I watched little Lacey in her brand new dress. It was full of battenburg lace, ribbons and bows and delightfully feminine! She couldn't help but twirl a bit, and was caught admiring herself in the reflection of the glass doors in the foyer. In that moment I was almost breathless as I saw her sunkissed skin, her beautiful big eyes and gorgeous wavy hair. She was delightful! Lacey has a secret that many of us have forgotten--she still enjoys the fact that God made her uniquely 100% girl and that is a good thing. She is free from the arrows that the world so quickly throws at women, to crush their joy in the beauty God has given them. From early peer pressure, parental disapproval or negative media influence we all to quickly see our flaws and our fall from " grace" as women. If you aren't enjoying your femininity, ask God to renew a love for the creative work He has done in you. You are God's marvellous work of art and a masterpiece of individuality. Stop comparing yourself to others and only compare yourself to Him and ask Him what He thinks of you. Enjoy who you are and who God has made you to be.

Psalms 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to [
b] me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. ( NIV)

I'll post more on this topic later as I expand my thoughts! I love you, and remember you are beautiful!
